Audio-to-same-language transcription — The transcript generated from the audio is in the same language as spoken in the audio.
Audio-to-different-language transcription — This is the direct transcription from the source audio into a different language. This involves transcription into the source language and then translation of the text into another language by a different linguist. In most cases, the translation is performed by the same person performing the transcription, as they are most familiar with the material.
Audi-to-same/different-language transcription — The transcript produced includes the spoken words in both the original-source audio language and a different language.
